About Me

Hi, I'm Ted, a junior developer with experience in HTML, CSS, Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and more.

I started programming at the age of ten in the spare room at my grandmother's house. She was a teacher and had been loaned a BBC Micro Model B, which I took to writing BASIC programs on like a duck to water.

These days I mostly code in Python but I am always up for learning new languages and skills, having recently attended a full stack bootcamp to bring my coding skills up to-date.

I also trained in cybersecurity recently, gaining new skills and certifications. I particularly enjoy (and specialise in) Governance, Risk, and Compliance. I believe secure coding and secure policies and practices (both as organisations and as individuals) are incredibly important in today's connected world.

With what spare time I have I enjoy crafting DJ sets and performing them live and have many recordings available on Mixcloud.

Below you will find a portfolio of my web-apps and projects as well as an overview of my skills. And, below those, you will find sections with recordings of my DJ sets, some videos I've made in my spare time, and some of the music I have written and recorded.

If you like what you see and are hiring please don't hesitate to contact me.
